would like to inform the Kelabit community of the
passing of WAN BALA @ NAPONG ARAN on 3rd February, 2006 in Bario. He was 97 years old. He is dearly missed by his
90 years old wife, Bekan Ayu
@ Sina Napong Aran, and (adoptive) son, Balang
Maran @ Yusuf Aran and daughter, Sina Raben Bala @ Lucy Bulan and others many others who regard him as a
father, such as The Bulans (Solomon, Ramy, Winnie, Lillian and Laura), Rose Lipang, and his many grandchildren, which includes The
Rajas (Dr Philip, Marilyn, Julia, Lilla,
Lorraine, Lolly, Peter).
